Hi Kim !!!
So Great To Hear From You ! Thank You For The UpDate!
WOW.....u must be fairly exhausted after playing preschool teacher, chief, cook and bottle washer all those days :/ !
Fortunately we never lost power in our Parkwing Apartment, 'til last night, when I turned on the hairdryer while I had the microwave, oven, stove, both tvs, dishwasher and printer all turned on :/ ! OOOOoooops......that's what I get for trying to 'hide my gray' with the 'blown dry look'. We all got a great laugh out of it :D Fortunately all the kids were here minus, J and Allison, both working, so I had full crew to remedy the situation :D(ie Johnnyand Josh used their Iphones as flashlights, walked to the fuse box and flipped the switches back on:/ NOTHING like Your Power Outage Kim :/
The snowfall was beautiful here. We watched the ferries go back and forth to Bremerton and Bainbridge....most of the time they were just motoring off in to a vast white fog . And they were equally as surprising, when their bow lights would just pop right out of the white wall of nothingness...
The 'Needle had its' 'disappearing act' down, too !
The one attempt at walking your brother around the whole block in the wheelchair, ended when a motorist stopped and jumped out of their car, leaving it running on the hill, to say "Are YOU okay ????" Looking at both mike and me like we were HelpLeSS :/ the good samaritan went on to say, "omg! I never would have FORGIVEN MYSELF if I hadn't stopppped !" Once he realized we were just repositioning the chair for a verry uneven gap in the sidewalk, he trusted we would be ok and was on his way....lol ;) ;) amazing the attention you can get with a wheelchair ! LOL :/
Our landlord had all sidewalk entrances shoveled clear by 7am every single morning :D t'was verry great ! Mike and I kinda "chuckled" about having a 'landlord' to do EverySingleThing For Us Now :D
The only thing left for us to do is to hang a humingbird feeder off our deck. Angie is brining one tomorrow when she comes to spend time with Mike. We have a funny lil' humingbird looking for food and shelter 3 to 4 times a day off our deck. Apparently, ThiS HumingBird Familia does not believe in flying south months ago :/ lol ! Two other apartments in the building, have 'pet' humingbirds, too.
XOXO,
m 'n n k
